Guinness is Happy "His People" Are Home

Guinness got to spend some time at a rather luxe Dog Hotel while we were gone this past weekend but you know how he is about having "his people" corralled... Now he can rest much easier since we are home... (No this picture was not taken today, or even here in Annapolis, but it's such a perfect capturing of how he looks today too!)

Even When He's Being Pestered He's Adorable!

Guinness gets "pestered" with various things by all of us and yet he remains adorable instead of looking grumpy... he's such a good sport!

Here he was "wearing" a birthday crown hat (stuffed kind of thing) that fell down around his neck so he just decided to put his head down and take a nap :)

Guinness Goes to the Beach!

Well I guess the title isn't entirely correct because Guinness got to go to not 1 but 2 beaches today! Unfortunately it wasn't exactly sunbathing weather  but given that Guinness is not a huge fan of the water or the heat I think today was right up his alley!

We started the day in Rehoboth Beach where Ken and I took Guinness for a run on the beach. He got to run free for a bit (steering very clear of the water as he usually does!) and made some new friends too.

Then Guinness had to some posing in his doggie "I wanna be a model" style....

Of course we had to take a family pic while we were out having fun...

Then on the way back home to Annapolis as we were driving past Sandy Point Park (not far at all from Annapolis) we decided to go ahead and pull off the highway and pull in and let him take a run on the beach there too!

Bottom line is Guinness had a big fun day! And since these beaches don't let dogs on them during the high season doggies are not allowed on the beach we are glad to give Guinness a chance to enjoy them now.

I think it's safe to say Guinness was all worn out from his adventures and travels from the weekend!

Guinness Loves Blankets

Guinness is so funny - he just loves to have a blanket (or equivalent) to curl up on. Lucky for him there are quite a few of those around here for him to use....

One evening Guinness was feeling anti-social because it was late and there were quite a few people in our living room so he decided to curl up on Ken's shirt in the hallway...

Guinness Pictures of the Week 17 February 2013

Guinness had some guests at our house this week - Ghost & Lulu. It was quite the pack of dogs at Chock's Inn for a few days!

Somehow we all managed to lounge on the couch together!

Ghost & Guinness decided to help me make the bed....

And I am still not quite sure what made Lulu climb onto the furnace back in the corner of the basement! Silly dog! :)

I don't think I posted these before... Guinness was insistent when we drove up to New Hampshire for Christmas that he just absolutely had to ride in my lap pretty much the whole way! He was nice enough to let Hedgie snuggle in the front seat too!

Sorry I missed out on publishing Guinness's cuteness last weekend. The days have just been getting away from me lately! (For example - how the heck is it December already?!?!?)

We let Guinness "Clean" our bowl & plate after we finished all the dessert in/on it... he accidentally pushed it under the coffee table so he of course went after it...
